Another local specialty called “A-Gei” (阿给)- crystal noodles stuffed in fried bean curd, served with a mild hot sauce.

How to get to Tamsui
By Train (MRT):
Take MRT Tamsui line (捷運淡水線) to Tamsui Station (淡水). This is the last stop for the red line.
After surveying a few hot springs, we decided to pick this ‘Pao Tang’ (川湯) which operates 24 hours. I hope Malaysia have this! Website: http://www.kawayu-spa.com.tw
How to get to Xinbeitou
By Train (MRT):
1. Take MRT Tamsui line (捷運淡水線) to Beitou Station (北投站).
2. Transfer MRT to Xinbeitou Station (新北投捷運站). You may take bus or cab to reach hot springs area.
In Taiwan (not sure whether it applies to all districts), their garbage truck actually plays out a midi music while they’re working on the rubbish collection.
How to get to Shilin Night Market
By Train (MRT):
Take MRT- Danshui Line (捷運淡水線) to Jiantan Station (捷運劍潭線). You will see Shilin Night Market just across the road. Do not get down at Shilin Station*

By Train (MRT):
Take Taipei MRT- Bannan Line (捷運板南線) to exit no.6 Ximen Station (捷運西門站).
