Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village

A nature area combining culture and art displays with recreational activities such as hikes and biking. The name Qing Xin Ling itself means hill which purifies the soul/heart had become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ipoh due to its similarity to China’s Guilin. Basically what you can do here is visiting the chalets, feed the fish, admire some nostalgic antiques, bike around with free of charge, wish upon the banyan tree and walk along the memory lane. I personally think that the memory lane part really brings me back to history.

Just noticed that i didn’t really take much photos of this place, probably because i was busy snapping Instagram stories. This is a proof that i enjoyed being here (:

Beautiful landscape they have.
The weather is really really hot.
They have tons of displays like this so bring your family to have some photo fun!
You can feed the fishes by purchasing the food for RM1.
My two personal bodyguard.
Am i the only one thinking that the colour of the lake is beautiful?

Gua Tempurung, Gopeng

Gua Tempurung is a cave located in Gopeng, Perak (nearby Ipoh). About 3 km long, it is one of the longest caves in Peninsula Malaysia. Part of it has been developed as a show cave with electric lighting and walkways and there are a range of tours of different length sand difficulty. A fine river cave, the river passage runs about 1.6 km through the hill. There are three very large chambers and some spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. It is made up of 5 large domes and is believed to have existed since 8,000 B.C., about 10,000 years ago!

We went for the dry tour only because wet tour needs to have minimum pax to start. There are a few other activities you can do in Gopeng like Rafting and ATV Ride so if you are planning to stay for the night, go for all!

Once you reach the venue, you will see this large pricing board.
The entrance to the cave.
They call it the mouth of the cave.
The Golden Flowstone at the height of 90m, stunning isn’t it?
The deeper i go, the more amazed i am.
Admiring its natural beauty.
Leaving footprints together.
Imagine yourself living in here?
My favourite platform, the wind tunnel!

Butty Boy Cooks

If you love hunting for cafes, i’m sure you’ve heard of B.Land. It’s been quite popular recently after a few cafes made their opening and it became an instagrammable worthy place too. I decided to go for Butty Boy Cooks as their menu attracts me more i guess, mainly because of the Mouse Bait Cheesecake. It’s just so cute!

Industrial concept cafe and this is how their main entrance look like.
Straightforward menu with no photos.
Signature Cheesy Mouse Bait Cheesecake – RM22. I picked Matcha flavour because it’s from Niko Neko.
Pesto Scallop Spaghetti – RM35. Huge scallop, taste so-so for me.
Tomyam Seafood Fried Glass Noodle with Udang Galah (upsized) – RM47. This is really good! I think they are good in Thai dishes so if you have no idea what to order, go for Thai dishes.
The other entrance and outdoor area which is temporary closed.
When’s the last time you see a pinkish sky?
