Thank you, Macau!
The first night in Macau was unforgettable, nothing bad happened but i just couldn’t really forget that night. Perhaps because i was alone and everything was so unfamiliar to me, and i even slept shivering on bed.
I remembered i came across this online job posting to work in Macau and i applied for it. Attended a skype interview and i was concern whether it was a scam job initially, however after some research on the company and receiving official documents for pre-employment, just like this, i left Malaysia for Macau in mid of December 2018.
The first night in Macau was unforgettable, nothing special happened but i just couldn’t really forget that night. Perhaps because i was alone and everything was so unfamiliar to me, and i even slept shivering on bed. There was no comforter given so i had to bear with the cold weather, not the type that can bear cold weather if you don’t know me. Addition to that, i’m a banana so there will be some inconvenience living there but not a big deal i guess. Saying this because there were other nationalities like Pilipino working there as well.
I worked 6 days a week, traveling by bus and walking, reaching earlier at work for meal and uniform collection, always abit hurry before work so that i can punch card on time, always abit hurry after work so that i can catch the bus on time. The only time i get to relax was during my day off, as i don’t really prefer hanging out on working days. Basically i was little psychically and mentally tired, especially when i have to bear with the 2 weeks cycle shift, and the midnight shift. On top of that, there was a little dormitory issues since there were like 8-10 girls living in the same unit apartment, and girls can be really a little troublesome, sometimes.
Putting those negativities aside, i really do appreciate all the experiences i had encountered, good or bad. Working abroad had always broaden my mind, and that’s the thing i like about it. It was a short 4 months, only 121 days, but the memories will stay forever in my heart ― Thank you, Macau.
Ristorante Il Teatro
Ristorante Il Teatro, the name itself means ‘the theatre’, as you can watch the fire, water and light show from most tables in the restaurant. It is one of the fine dining restaurant under Wynn Macau and was listed Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant.
There are a few restaurants under Wynn Macau which has gotten the five stars but we chose here because of its environment and would prefer Italian cuisine more than others since we always have Chinese cuisine at our normal days. Really love the performance lake view from here!
